Passion (A Vampire Kiss)

It was total ecstasy as he hovered near,
He looked through my eyes, searching for fear.
I turned my head and flicked my hair,
Leaving my neck totally visible and bare.
I closed my eyes and crossed my feet,
Anticipation in my blood flowed deep.
He bent down close, his ice cold breath,
He held my body, warning me of death.
I felt his lips so dark and cold.
His icy hand, experienced, but strangely not old.
The hair on my back rose excitably up,
As his lips moved, finding a place to sup.
Passion ran through me as he moved in near,
His hair falling, tickling my ear.
My body screamed, my mind was set,
One small gesture I had to let.
I grabbed his sides and pulled him near,
I sensed his need, his love, in one tear.
He sank his teeth into my throat,
The ecstasy that shot through me was more than I hoped.
His needy lips sucked me dry,
In complete passion I laid down to die.
